Here’s a great article by Forbes. Much of what Jacob Morgan talks about can be applied to the designer and web developer. I can sometimes moan about constantly having to learn new things, but there is a bit of me that likes it. I think most of the points he picks up on I’ve had to address at one point or another, adaptive learning and certainly the hoarding vs sharing attitude of information. It used to be that instinct told me to hold my cards close to my chest, but not today. Assessing the difference between technical and non-technical information, when to share and not confuse, allows for collaboration and closer ties with clients that can only help in the long run.
